Judge Judy is frequently dealing with cases involving family disputes, and some of the time adoption, foster care or surrogacy.
Today’s case on CBS Reality was of two people who paid expenses for a surrogate mother who changed her mind. They claimed that some of the expenses were loans, and that she had led them on as she never intended to relinquish the child.
Legally they do not have a foot to stand on. They do not have a claim.
Morally, the judge claims, they should get something.
They end up loosing it all.
