Activity for which registered: The activities outlined in Section 4(e,f,g) of the Adoption Act 2010. A number of same-gender couples started being assessed by PACT instead of the HSE, but they had to stop as they were no longer approved under the new legilation. They can now resume taking on the load from the HSE.

The Authority is currently in the process of examining a number of applications from organisation wishing to work in the field of adoption both in Ireland and abroad.

The Authority wishes to point out that NO organisation has been accredited to date. Persons involving themselves in making arrangements for adoption may be in breach of the Adoption Act 2010 and may be committing an offence under that Act.
