Sir Elton John and David Furnish are thought to be considering having another baby.

The British singer and his civil partner David became the proud parents of son Zachary on Christmas Day last year. The tot was born using a surrogate and the couple kept the pregnancy secret.

They are both enjoying every second of parenthood and are now said to be contemplating giving Zachary a sibling in the near future. The pair have apparently always wanted to have more than one child, but originally thought they wouldn’t expand their brood for a few years.

“They’ve had six fertilised eggs stored for future use, and originally thought they’d wait a bit before contemplating another child – but they’re so over the moon with Zachary they’ve decided to speed things up so the siblings will be closer in age,” a source told National Enquirer.

Elton and David have reportedly already started interviewing possible surrogate candidates, among them the woman who carried Zachary.

In February, David, 48, hinted he and 64-year-old Elton were thinking about becoming parents again.

“We are just taking it one day at a time, it’s a huge change in our lives and we are loving every minute of it,” he explained. “Who knows what the future holds?”
