Africa

Principle

The idea of this page is to discuss possible contacts for each country: “pink” friendliness, legal contacts, orphanages contacts, agencies, etc.

* One star means that the conditions are favorable to pink adoptions.

** Two stars means that foreign openly pink adoptions are known to have succeeded.

*** Three stars means that foreign openly pink adoptions are known to have succeeded for Irish residents.

Adding information

Each country will have a page: add a comment/reply to provide information, which will then be updated from time to time in the relevant page. Only positive/non-libelous information will be retained…

  1. For those who do not know,
ABATO Uganda is a non-governmental,non-profit and non-political organization working with rural and peri-urban communities in Uganda to try and improve the quality of life among the children of Uganda especially those suffering the adverse effects of civil war, disease and extreme poverty. Their interventions include:

    – Fostering
    – Sponsorships
    – Placement with orphanages
    – Supporting support families
    – Facilitating adoption

They are in the final stages of designing a website which they hope should be operational in the next 1-2 months. By that time too they hope electricity will have reached many of our communities in the countryside which are not yet connected.

  2. Great service; thank you very much. Would sure like you to partner with us at ABATO-Uganda.

    Regards,
    Barbara
